Dieng Temples, Central Java, Indonesia, 2007

Taking advantage of a long weekend, I managed to join my friends to go to Dieng Temples, in Wonosobo, Central Java. It was my first ever visit to the legendary & the oldest temples complex in Indonesia — built in around 7-8 century. The best time to see the temples was on sunrise, however, we didn’t manage to catch the sunrise as we all woke upĀ  a bit late than planned :-D

Nevertheless, it was so amazing. The temples location is exactly what its name implies, ‘The Abode of the God’.

Ujung Kulon, Banten, Indonesia, 2007

I went trekking to the Ujung Kulon National Park, Banten, in 2007. Despite it being one of the most funtastic & memorable trips, I didnt take many pictures. Something I regretted later. At the time, I was so amazed at how beautiful the park was, so natural, and peaceful, I spent the whole time admiring it, forgetting to use my pocket camera. Well, these are all I took when I finally reached the last destination, a stretchy sandy beach somewhere.

Tanjung Layar, Sawarna, Banten, Indonesia, 2006

These photos were taken in 2006 on my first trip to Sawarna, Banten, Indonesia. Trekking was definitely the only way to explore the area, including a visit to Tanjung Layar.
